ABC National Craft Championship

Congratulations to Chris Januzys, a fourth year apprentice from our Burlington Division.

Christopher placed 2nd in the ABC National Craft Championship in Honolulu, Hawaii last week. This is quite an honor since he was competing against the best apprentices across the nation.  The contest is held in conjunction with the ABC National Convention.  The two day competition consists of a written exam as well as a hands-on portion.   

Christopher also won the NC State Electrical Contest at the NC State Fair in Raleigh last October.  The Bill Boyette Scholarship Fund, which is a part of CECA, funded Christophers trip to Hawaii.  The fund sends the highest ranking CECA Member apprentice from the NC Competition to the ABC National Craft Championship each year.
