Effective 1/1/08 Memorial Day has been added as an
additional company observed holiday.
If any of the above holidays fall on Saturday, Friday
will be observed. If any of these
holidays fall on Sunday, Monday will be observed. Exception related to the Christmas Eve/Christmas
Day combination: In the event that Christmas Day is on a Saturday, then
Thursday and Friday will be observed; when Christmas Day is on a Sunday, then
Thursday and Friday will be observed; and when Christmas Day is on Monday, then
Monday and Tuesday will be observed.
All full-time administrative employees and full-time
productive employees properly classified by their division manager as a
serviceman, foreman, superintendent, or project superintendent are paid for the
above listed holidays. All other
full-time employees with one or more years of satisfactory cumulative service
are paid for the above listed holidays.
If you are out of work due to short-term disability, a
workers’ compensation claim, or a personal leave exceeding two weeks, you will not be paid for holidays during that time.
