Awarded by Mixon Construction Co, Inc. The project is a 39,492 square foot community and apartment building. Work includes installing light fixtures and wiring devices.  

Block Rooms – DraH - Raleigh, NC
Awarded by Riley-Lewis, Inc. This project is a renovation of the exam room areas in the emergency department of the hospital.  Due to its location and use, the job is being done in phases so the area can continue to be used.

CPCC Allied Health 5th Floor Up-fit -  Charlotte, NC
Awarded by Rodgers Builders.  The project is a  9,600 square foot up-fit of (10) standard college classrooms including lights, receptacles, fire alarm and poke-thru’s

Monroe Wastewater Treatment Plant - Monroe, NC
Awarded by the City of Monroe.  This project includes an upgrade of the standby power systems and modifications to an existing 750KW generator. The existing generator will be interlocked with new high voltage gear to provide Kirk Key switching to emergency power. Additional installations include a new 1200A motor control center, and two new generators sized @ 750KW and 25KW.

Coastal Beverage – Pollocksville, NC
Awarded by Farrior and Sons.  The job is a 36,000 square foot warehouse addition.  Change orders have already been received for remodeling some of the office and sales area

State Employee Credit Union – Wilmington, NC
Awarded by Player, Inc.  The project is a 9,500 square foot, single-story facility that consists of standard electrical with piping for fire alarm, security and ATM.

Kenan Stadium Sports Lighting Renovation – Chapel Hill, NC
Awarded by The State of North Carolina through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Remove existing stadium lighting. Provide and install new lighting support structures, new stadium luminaries and distribution as required. Approximately 500 new lighting luminaries

St. Michael's Episcopal Church - Raleigh, NC
Awarded by Inland Construction. This project consists of a 10,000 square foot addition to an existing church with a renovation of 6,000 square feet. The work included included in this project will be adding to the existing electrical distribution infrastructure, new sanctuary lighting and fire alarm.

Hope Lutheran Church - Wake Forest, NC
Awarded by Polycon Construction. This project consists of a 30,000 square foot addition with new classrooms and a new sanctuary. The work included in this project will be a new 1200 Amp electrical service, theatrical lighting and an extension of the fire alarm system. 

Sam’s Club # 6573 Expansion - Jacksonville, NC
Awarded by Sexton Construction Co., Inc.  The project is a 50,000 square foot addition and renovation of the existing store in Jacksonville.  The Store will remain in operations and will have to be very closely phased, scheduled and coordinated.  All lighting and switch gear is being provided by the Owner.

Davis Health Care Center Rehabilitation and 20 Room Addition - Wilmington, NC
Awarded by Lee F. Cowper.  The project consists of adding a new 23,135 square foot addition which will house 20 new patient rooms and a rehabilitation center for therapy.  The project will have a full array of systems with generator backup, fire alarm, tele/data, nurse call, etc.

 

Wolseley North America – Wilmington, NC
Awarded by McKinley Building Corporation.  The project is a 67,804 square foot warehouse and office and is located on the north side of Wilmington in the industrial corridor.

Charleston Housing Authority Exterior Building Lights - Charleston, SC
Awarded by the Housing Authority of Charleston.  Install vandal resistant lighting on a total of 119 buildings in the downtown Charleston area.

Comprehensive Wound Care – Kinston, NC
Awarded by Hudson Brothers Construction Co.  The project is a new 11,681 square foot, 1 story, medical office building.

UNCW Oyster Research Hatchery Facility – Wilmington, NC
Awarded by Paragon Building Corporation.  The project consists of a single story, 11,704 square foot facility dedicated to oyster hatchery research.  The work includes pumps, filters, piping, etc., exclusively for the research hatchery.

Rocky Mount Medical Park Renovations – Rocky Mount, NC
Awarded by-Erdman Company, Norcross GA. Job consists of a five story renovation to an existing medical facility. Renovations consist of power, lighting and some communication work, while keeping existing facility up and in operation.

DHA Hoover Rd & Scattered Sites - Durham, NC
Awarded by Central Builders of Mebane.  This project includes the installation of 154 residential service upgrades, the installation of 1,241 new energy efficient light fixtures, 349 smoke detectors, and 108 carbon monoxide detectors for the Durham Housing Authority low income housing. 

Durham Housing Authority - Durham, NC
Awarded by Central Builders.  This project includes the installation of 4,190 new energy efficient light fixtures, 4,300 smoke detectors, and 640 carbon monoxide detectors to Durham Housing Authority low income housing

Hampton University McGrew Tower Sprinkler Upgrade – Hampton, VA
Awarded by Armada Hoffler Construction Company.  This project is to design/build a fire alarm system for a sprinkler system upgrade for a 9 story college dormitory building and add a diesel driven emergency generator. 

Altria Hanger Expansion – Henrico County, VA
Awarded by Kjellstrom & Lee Construction. This project consists of the construction of a new 17,500 square foot hangar at the Richmond International Airport complex.  Additional power and lighting upgrades to the adjacent hangar are included.  Systems include lighting, switch gear, fire alarm, lightning protection, removal and disposal of an existing 100kVA generator and the installation of a new 250kVA generator.  Altria Group is the parent company of Phillip Morris USA and is based in Richmond, VA.    

Catawba Valley Medical Center – Hickory, NC
Awarded by Rodgers Builders.  The project consists of the addition of (3) new operating rooms and the renovation of existing area for (9) additional operating rooms on the first floor.  There are a variety of new systems to be installed including power distribution, isolation panels with remote annuciators , nurse call, medical gas systems with remote annuciators, integration systems, observation cameras, and fire alarm. An Upgrade of the existing normal power system will be added with (3) new utility transformers and the addition of (3) 3000A buss way feeds for the new service entrance connecting to the existing switch board.  The new emergency power systems will include (2) new 1360 KW generators with (2) 3000A switchboards & a tiebreak system. The new emergency system will feed (2) new ATS and re-feed (7) existing automatic transfer switches ranging from 600 to 3000A feeds. The expansion of the existing physical plant will add a new 1200 ton chiller, cooling tower and pumps, a new boiler and renovation to re-feed existing systems. Site work will be the addition / expansion of parking facilities and will include underground feeds to new lighting, emergency call phones and signs.

Awarded by Carocon. This job is a 232,000 square foot, 248 unit, 12 building, 3 story apartment project with clubhouse amenities. Site work is in progress with electrical installation anticipated to start in January

North Chiller Plant Addition College of William & Mary - Williamsburg, VA
Awarded by Martin Horn.  The project is a 7,980 square foot 2 story addition to the existing heating plant for 3 new chillers and associated equipment.                            

United States Postal Service HVAC Upgrade - Fayetteville, NC
Awarded by Bordeaux Construction Company. This project is a renovation of the existing mechanical equipment. This project will require a new 1200 amp service, five other panels, two transformers, and some new breaker buckets in the existing MCC.

Pitt County Memorial Hospital Chapel Addition – Greenville, NC
Awarded by R. N. Rouse & Company. The project is a 5,348 square foot addition. The work includes power and lighting along with adding on to existing fire alarm system.

Pitt County Memorial Hospital Central Utility Server Room - Greenville, NC
Awarded by C.A Lewis Inc. The project is a room renovation for adding a UPS system with some lighting and adding on to an existing fire alarm

Multi Use Complex First Presbyterian Church - New Bern, NC
Awarded by Thomas Simpson Construction. The project is a 13,160 square foot building consisting of 2 floors. The work includes power, lighting, and fire alarm system along with new feeds to the HVAC system in the existing sanctuary.
