Teffany Brantley has proven to be a valued member of the Watson Electrical family. In June of 1999, fresh from graduating high school, Teffany was seeking employment. She read the help wanted section of the local newspaper where Watson Electrical had placed an ad for a part-time general file clerk. Teffany started part-time with Watson Electrical on June 16, 1999, and went to full-time soon after.
As time went on, Teffany held several positions. From general file clerk to helpdesk coordinator for the IT department, Teffany has been a team player. She has helped with accounts payable, became the secretary for the alarm division and then the secretary in the maintenance department, and all the while helping out answering calls that came into the IT helpdesk. Melissa Harrell was working part-time for the City of Wilson but needed to find full-time employment. Watson Electrical Construction Co. LLC advertised for a full-time Secretary of the Safety Department position. She interviewed, was hired, and started on April 26, 1999. Over the 20 years, Melissa has worked for Watson Electrical; she has held several positions within Watson Electrical, secretary, substance abuse coordinator, switchboard operator. Currently, she is a human resources coordinator.
Melissa said, "My favorite part is the people I get to work with. To me, they are like my family. But the best part of working for Watson Electrical is the teamwork. Everybody is always willing to help one another in any way possible."

Wilson – It is a tradition at Watson Electrical to celebrate the longevity of its employees. It is not uncommon for many of their employees to be with the company for 15, 20, or even 30 years. But, by far, the longevity record holders are Lloyd Evans and Therese Maclaga Pierce who have been with Watson Electrical an incredible 50 years.
Lloyd Evans returned from his Vietnam tour of duty on July 4, 1968. Not someone to sit at home, Evans went right out and looked for a job. Within a week he had found his way to Watson Electrical and he started on July 17, 1968, as an electrician’s helper.
